Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Front Office professional to welcome guests, support smooth reception operations and promote hotel outlets. You will work with the management team to sustain strong morale and deliver exceptional service throughout each guest's stay.

The role requires at least 1 year in a similar position, strong organizational skills, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude to support colleagues and guests alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee and delegate.
• Warm, friendly and approachable personality when interacting with staff and guests.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive a genuine, warm welcome from all staff during arrival and stay.
• Assist in efficiently and effectively managing front office operations.
• Collaborate with management to maintain high team morale at all times.
• Monitor front office cash transactions, floats and tills per policy.
• Ensure front desk is adequately staffed and anticipate coverage during busy periods.
• Familiarize staff with sales and promotional principles and promote hotel outlets.
• Communicate with Accommodation Manager/Assistant Manager on room status, VIP guests and allocations.
