A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking dedicated individuals to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout hospital departments. The role involves transporting patients and medical specimens, and ensuring all areas are orderly and hygienic. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred. This position also includes assisting in training new employees. Shift timings are from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Maintains a clean, safe, orderly and attractive environment throughout all Hospital departments, patient areas, offices, corridors, and or any hospital-controlled area following hospital cleaning and disinfection standards. Remove waste and linen, complete room cleaning discharges and daily cleaning, as well as terminally clean operating rooms. Housekeepers will also interact with staff and patients on a regular basis and will collaborate with other members of the environmental services department. This position may also be asked to assist the transport department by moving patients and specimens throughout the building.
Shift: 10:30PM-7:00AM EOH/EOW
A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
