Job summary

A regional health provider in Tees Valley is seeking a dedicated Porter/Housekeeper to deliver cleaning and catering services within Roseberry Park Hospital. The successful candidate will engage compassionately with patients, ensuring a safe and clean environment while working within a supportive team. Essential qualifications include a Food Hygiene Certificate and experience in cleaning duties, notably in a mental health or learning disabilities setting. This permanent, full-time position requires flexibility and reliability, working between 6.00am and 6.00pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Experience in general cleaning duties.
• Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health or learning disabilities environment.
• Experience in portering.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team.
• Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients.
• Work in a multi-professional team and interact compassionately with patients.
