Qualifications

  • Evidence of training and competence in welding techniques and fabrication.
  • Investigate causes of breakdowns or failures.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative and reactive repairs.
  • Service and calibrate advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
  • Provide technical advice and supervise tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high quality, comprehensive maintenance service.
  • Ensure operational excellence and safety across hospital facilities.
  • Manage the supply of spare parts and materials for repairs.
  • Generate reports and recommendations for efficient operation.

Proven experience within a similar role
Experience with Mechanical Systems
Plate Heat Exchangers
Pressure Systems – Steam
Unvented and Vented
Pumps, Motors and Bearings
BMS Control Systems
Problem solving using a logical approach
Works well in a pressurised environment
Computer literate
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good level of mathematical skills
Previous experience within a Health Service context
Maturity in working with Hard FM groups
Specialist knowledge relevant to health care
Experience using SharePoint and Maximo CAFM systems
