Overview

In this role you will take responsibility for the well-being of our Residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate and mentor your team and deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home. You will carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each Resident. You will monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation. You will promote our Residents\' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.

The position offers you a chance to lead that provision through effective leadership and home management. You\'ll make sure we have the best people on-site, delivering a truly empathic service. You will champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan for the home and carry out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards, always with kindness at the core.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and mentor the care team; deliver clinical guidance and training.
  • Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for Residents.
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation.
  • Promote Residents\' independence, choice, dignity and respect; strive for continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Lead the provision of high-quality care and an empathic service across the home.
  • Develop a vision and development plan for the home; conduct quality assurance monitoring.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Care home experience as a Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register.
  • Registered Manager\'s Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
  • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
  • Strong communication skills; demonstrate kindness and consideration in interactions with Residents and colleagues.
  • Safeguarding: ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do, attend safeguarding training and report concerns as required.
