John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Technician Specialist to bring our service to customers' homes. You will install products like furniture, appliances, and TVs as part of a 2-person delivery crew in a 7.5-tonne vehicle, coaching teammates and delivering outstanding service.

You will work a 41-hour week over four days on a five‑week rota, with early starts, late finishes, and weekend work. Training is provided, and DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Formación

• Installation experience is required and accreditation provided.
• Valid Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Drivers Qualification Card and Tachograph Card by day one.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills both on phone and in person.
• Good understanding of technology.

Responsabilidades

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with top customer service as priority.
• Coach and develop delivery driver colleagues to perform at their best.
• Assist loading the lorry with deliveries alongside the warehouse team.
• Demonstrate respect for customers' homes and resolve issues effectively.
• Install products efficiently and show customers how to use them.
• Stay up to date with new products and technologies for peak performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment on every shift.
