Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is seeking Technician Specialists to install products at customers' homes as part of a two-person delivery crew. You’ll coach colleagues, handle large items like sofas and white goods, and ensure service excellence across installations.

Role requires a manual C1 licence, DCPC, and prior installation experience. The job is based at the Milton Keynes hub with on-road routes and a strong emphasis on safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience is required with installer accreditation training provided.
• Must have Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Drivers Qualification Card and Tachograph Card required by day one.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle and customer-facing roles are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication, both over the phone and in person.
• Good understanding of technology and home devices.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador for the John Lewis brand with customer-first service.
• Coach and develop delivery driver colleagues to perform their best.
• Load lorries with deliveries with warehouse team.
• Demonstrate care for customers' homes and resolve issues creatively.
• Install products efficiently and show customers how they work.
• Keep up to date with new products and technologies.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
