Job summary

John Lewis is recruiting Installation Specialists to bring our service directly to customers' doors. You will join a 2-person delivery crew, installing home products like furniture, appliances and TVs while driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.

This role requires heavy lifting and a commitment to high standards of safety and customer care. A 41-hour week over a 5-week rota, with varied start times and potential DBS/vetting steps where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience is required; installer accreditation will be provided.
• Must have Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points)
• DCPC (Driver CPC) or Driver Qualification Card by day one
• Tachograph Card required, essential for driving and compliance

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Load deliveries with the warehouse team.
• Respect the customer's home and handle unexpected situations to find the best solution.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate how they work after installation.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and technologies for optimal performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
