Enhanced Pay: Double time on Bank Holidays

About the Role

Home Instead is seeking compassionate and reliable Waking Nights Care Professionals to support clients in their own homes throughout the night. We are looking for individuals who can provide exceptional care with dignity, respect, and empathy—just as they would for their own family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care during night hours
  • Supporting with medication
  • Preparing meals or refreshments as required
  • Light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompanying clients to early or late appointments, if needed
  • Assisting with bedtime and morning routines
  • Offering companionship and reassurance
  • Monitoring client safety and wellbeing throughout the night
  • Responding appropriately to any needs or changes
Requirements
  • A caring and considerate nature
  • Ability to work waking night shifts
  • Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
  • Driving licence required
Qualifications

We will provide all training so no specific qualifications are necessary. However, it’s essential that you have a kind heart, good work ethics and a want to make a difference to people’s lives.

You will receive full training including QCF / NVQs along with City and Guilds Assured training as your personal development is very important us.

A driving licence is not essential, but having your own transport will allow you to visit more clients and dramatically increase your potential income.

We provide comprehensive training to all of our Care Professionals, however if you do have experience or training that you would like to put into practice, you will find working with Home Insteadis a highly rewarding way to use your skills!

The role is subject to a full DBS check, 2 professional and 2 personal references.
