Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and provide emergency breakdown support with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will start and end your day at home, operate with a RAC van and full toolkit, and benefit from a range of rewards including a share scheme, breakdown cover, pension and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of roadside experience or Level 2 qualification with relevant hands-on work.
• Experience diagnosing faults and performing repairs on vehicles at the roadside.
• Ability to work autonomously in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and customer reassurance.
• Tackle faults, tyre changes, battery issues, and other call-out tasks.
