Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division in the UK. You'll perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics, delivering confident, quick solutions to get members back on the road.

You’ll start and end each day at home, with a RAC van and kit provided. Demand-led shifts average 40 hours weekly, with optional overtime, and you’ll work across your local area to help members in need.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support
• Troubleshoot faults and provide quick, confident solutions for members
