Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You’ll perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing each day from home and serving members in your local area with speed and professionalism.

You’ll be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit to ensure you can diagnose and fix faults efficiently on the roadside, while delivering outstanding member service.

Qualifications

Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
Customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real roadside impact.
You’ll have your RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
