Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnose faults, and provide breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work locally, starting and finishing at home, within a 40-hour week with optional overtime and a company van, fuel card, and tools provided.

The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or 2+ years’ experience) and a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or 2+ years’ experience
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, and full kit provided.
• Work around a 40-hour week with demand-led shifts and optional overtime.
