Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Hire Operations Coordinator in Basingstoke to manage customer enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and invoices, and coordinate hire orders. The role includes stock control, equipment preparation, and ongoing records updates to support first-class customer service.

The position offers a varied mix of office-based and operational duties with full product and systems training and opportunities for progression within the growing business.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Producing quotations, order confirmations and invoices.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Coordinating hire orders and ensuring timely dispatch.
• Picking, packing and preparing equipment for hire.
• Managing stock levels and equipment availability.
• Inspecting, cleaning and processing returned equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records and system updates.
• Supporting the wider team to ensure excellent customer service standards are achieved.
