Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking a Hire Controller based at our depot to manage the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection. You will build strong relationships with customers and coordinate with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure timely fulfillment of equipment needs and exceptional service.

The role is desk-based and requires strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a drive to learn and develop within the hire industry.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with the depot and stock teams, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs and ensure service quality.
• Work desk-based and liaise with other departments to maintain timely delivery of equipment and strong customer service.
