Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Hire Coordinator in Burton Latimer to support hiring and sales activities. The role involves coordinating short-term equipment hire, processing bookings, and liaising with customers to ensure smooth transport and invoicing.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused and proficient with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems, able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining precise records.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and ability to manage a varied workload.
• Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to build strong relationships.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and experience using CRM or business management systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration of the hire department and meet customer expectations.
• Process short-term hire bookings: schedule equipment, contact customers, arrange transport, prepare quotations, raise invoices.
• Support sales administration: prepare sales docs, raise purchase orders, update equipment records.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and ensure documents and invoices are complete.
• Liaise with third-party finance providers on buy-back and sales agreements.
• Maintain accurate hire and sales administration records.
