A local primary school in Woodbridge is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support students individually and in small groups, cover classes during PPA time, and assist in after-school activities. Essential qualifications include Early Years Childcare Level 2 or equivalent, and experience with children with SEND is preferred. This is a fixed-term position until March 31, 2027, with a competitive salary range of £28,598 to £33,699 pro rata.
* Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8.30am - 1.30pm. Thursday and Friday, 11.30am - 5.30pm.
We are a sought after, one form entry primary school located in the centre of the popular town of Woodbridge.
We are looking to appoint an excellent and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across key stages. The role will involve supporting pupils both individually and in small groups, as well as covering classes for PPA time. The role will also support the enrichment of our wrap around care in our after‑school club for two afternoons a week and supervision at lunchtimes. You may also be asked to provide additional cover for staff absence or training.
Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher.
