Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team, supporting a range of primary schools within the Dudley Borough. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable professional who thrives on making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across all year groups from Early Years to Year 6. You will take on whole-class teaching responsibilities when required, deliver interventions, and contribute to creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher, following set plans.
  • Provide targeted support to small groups and individual pupils.
  • Work flexibly across different year groups and subject areas.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with staff and pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding practices.
