• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections as per 'O' licence requirements.
• Conduct necessary repairs identified during inspections.
• General servicing and MOT preparation.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Update all required paperwork and databases.

Overview

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Stockport

Working Hours: 6pm to 6am

Nights 4 on 4 off shift

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £50,000 Plus Overtime = £55k and more

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

Requirements / Qualifications

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
