Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with relevant certifications.
• Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance.
• Able to perform all aspects of vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Manage general servicing tasks.
• Perform reactive maintenance as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT presentation.
• Identify and correct running defects.

About The Role

Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanics on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspections
• General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
• Reactive maintenance as required
• MOT preparation / Presentation
• Correction of running defects

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ
• Able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
• Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles
