Job description

Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and qualified HGV mechanic to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will work on our fleet of Volvo HGV vehicles as well as third-party vehicles and trailers at our Morecambe site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Volvo HGVs and other vehicles/trailers as required.
• Assist with diagnostics and fault finding to ensure high levels of vehicle availability.
• Ensure work is performed to the required quality standards and within agreed timescales.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license, including CPC and Class 1 HGV (preferable).
• Professional, self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
• Team player with punctuality and reliability.

We offer competitive rates of pay, negotiable based on experience and the time you dedicate to your work. Additionally, quarterly payments after 40 hours of service are provided.
