Job summary

A leading environmental services provider in Watford is seeking a HGV Driver to operate vehicles and maintain street cleanliness. The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 Driving Licence and an up-to-date CPC/DIGI card. Overview

Salary: £16.75 per hour, plus Veolia benefits.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am till 2.30pm with a half hour unpaid break.

Location: Wiggenhall Depot, Wiggenhall Road, Watford, Hertfordshire. WD18 0FB

What you'll be doing

• Drive a HGV Vehicle and operate a mechanical broom (training to be provided).
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times.
• Report locations of any fly-tipping, graffiti, fly-posting or damaged/missing litter bins to your foreman.
• Operate street cleansing and parks equipment e.g. mechanical sweeping machines, back pack blowers and other equipment as required.
