Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts

40 hours a week across Monday to Sunday, working 5 out of 7 days a week (including 1 day on a weekend).

Hours

• Twilight- 14:00pm-16:00pm start times (finish time around 00:00am).

Pay Rate

• Twilight- £14.60 per hour PAYE.

Plymouth, PL6.

The role

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.
