Are you an HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Driver looking for flexible work?

The Best Connection are recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This role offers the flexibility of ad‑hoc shifts, ideal for drivers who want to fit work around their schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens alongside a driver's mate
• Handballing required (items up to 25kg)
• Customer‑facing role - friendly and professional manner essential
• Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard
• Pick up ad‑hoc shifts when required to suit your availability

Requirements

• Ideally 2 years of commercial Class 2 driving experience (drivers with less considered)
• In‑date Cat C licence, CPC and Digi card
• Smart appearance
• Positive attitude and good customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 25kg
• Induction required before starting

Hours

• Start times between 04:00 - 06:00
• Ad‑hoc shifts when required, Monday to Friday

Pay Rates

• £14.09 per hour (first 10 hours)
• £21.14 per hour (after 10 hours)
