Job summary

A leading environmental services provider in the UK is looking for a Class 2 Driver to carry out collections and ensure compliance with procedures and legislation. This role offers £14.06 per hour with benefits, a flexible work schedule, and opportunities for ongoing training and development in a supportive environment. Working hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
  • Current Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Valid Digi / Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to planned locations and execute collections as per Veolia procedures.
  • Ensure daily paperwork and onboard system information are up to date.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks following the driver operator handbook.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and weight regulations.

Salary

£14.06 per hour plus Veolia benefits - Paid weekly. Single person allowance: Earn an extra £11.00 daily on RCV routes completing over 100 bins.

Hours

42.5 hours per week, 06:30 starts. Finishing times may vary on occasions, therefore some flexibility is required. Monday - Friday with some Saturday overtime on a rota basis (minimum 1 per month).

What you'll be doing
  • Driving to planned locations and carrying out collections following Veolia procedures
  • Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads
