Job summary

A logistics company based in Chester is seeking an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver for a temporary position. Responsibilities include safely collecting non-, low-, and hazardous waste from multiple customer sites, while managing customer expectations and adhering to safety regulations. Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
Contract: Temporary (until 24th December)
Pay Rate: £850 - £900 per week (paid weekly)

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver on behalf of our client based in the Chester area.

You’ll be responsible for the safe collection and exchange of waste materials from multiple customer sites, working closely with both the branch team and clients to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out 9–11 site visits daily, collecting and exchanging non-, low-, and hazardous waste streams.
  • Load and unload drums and containers safely onto and from your vehicle.
  • Liaise with customers to manage site and service requirements.
  • Use hand-held tablets and CRM systems to plan routes, record collections, and manage workloads.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a current ADR certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar driving role.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • DBS check required.
