HGV 2 Driver

Pertemps West Midlands driving division are recruiting for multiple HGV 2 Driver on an ongoing basis for one of our prestigious clients based in Wednesbury.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV 2/Category C Vehicle and Vans
• Operating a tail lift to support with deliveries
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations
• Safe delivery of gambling machines to their shops across the UK
• Nights out will be required (Hotel and food provided)
• Provide excellent customer service to customers
• Report vehicle defects
• Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
• Represent the company professionally at all time

Qualifications

• Category C driving qualification (held for a minimum of 2 years)
• 6 months experience driving a category C vehicle
• Clean license (desirable)
• Good understanding and knowledge of current regulations with regards to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Driver's Tachograph restrictions
• Open to driving both HGV 2 and vans when required
• Able and willing to complete manual handling tasks
