A community health service provider in Gillingham is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers to assist clients with complex mental health needs. You will work in a Community Rehabilitation Team to promote recovery and support service users in daily living activities. Applicants must have an NVQ in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it, hold a valid UK driving license, and have experience in mental health settings. The position may require working evenings and weekends.
The Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients complex mental health needs to manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes.
The team works in close partnership with Social Care and housing providers to ensure each client has the necessary resources available to enable them to engage in their rehab journey. Across the Community Rehabilitation teams, the clinical team consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, and VCSE Workers.
We currently have an exciting opportunities for two enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our North Kent Community Rehabilitation Service. Post one will cover Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley. Post two will cover Medway and Swale.
Individuals may be expected to ensure the team is able provide input between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 according to the needs of the service, including working some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
