A leading charity for first aid services is seeking an Events Healthcare Professional - Paramedic in Hull. You will provide clinical care at various events, managing acutely unwell patients in pre-hospital environments. Applicants must be registered paramedics with recent relevant experience. Role: Events Healthcare Professional - Paramedic (casual). St John Ambulance provides first aid and medical provision to thousands of events each year. You will be providing clinical care to patients presenting to St John Ambulance across our events portfolio. Our Event Healthcare Professionals will be providing pre-hospital care at a large range of events such as music festivals, motoring, equestrian and sports events. You will be supported with modern equipment and vehicles, working alongside our volunteers and other employed St John people. This role will primarily involve shifts during sociable hours, with some long durations possible. You will be working alongside a blended team of SJA volunteers, event organisers and other uniformed emergency services, demonstrating clinical leadership and support. It is essential that you have experience in managing acutely unwell patients in the emergency setting, whether that be in an emergency department or pre-hospital. You are willing to accept work at various event deployments on a casual basis as advertised by the Events Team to provide care to patients.
