Healthcare Development Manager - Cumbria

Medical Nutrition

Up to £54,000 + bonus + company car

Please note that this is a field-based role and all applicants are required to live in Cumbria.

Role context

Our client is a well-renowned global leader within the Consumer Health, Nutrition and Hygiene space, now looking to appoint a Healthcare Development Manager in Cumbria.

Responsibilities

This role will work across a portfolio of their Medical Nutrition products and will take responsibility for:

  • Developing & implementing account plans – ensuring all activities adhere to the ABPI code.
  • Driving relationships with key stakeholders – including GPs, Medicines Management, Paediatricians and Dietitians.
  • Delivering and driving sales across Cumbria – proactively working to achieve/exceed agreed sales targets and increase product uptake.

The Healthcare Development Manager position is a great opportunity for an ABPI qualified Sales professional who may now be looking to take the next step within their career.

Qualifications & experience

Successful applicants will also be able to demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, as well as:

  • A track record of maximising market share and achieving/exceeding sales targets within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Solid experience of driving and achieving formulary inclusion status for products within Cumbria.
  • Strong hospital/secondary sales skills – a full understanding of the NHS environment and health economy is also essential.
