A healthcare organization in Plymouth is seeking a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant to join their team. The role involves delivering high-quality end-of-life and palliative care within a specialist inpatient unit. Hours: 27 Hours Per Week (days and nights)
StLuke's Hospice are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person, with a strongwork ethic, excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach tocare, to join the team as a band 2 Healthcare Assistant.
Therole would be working within our specialist inpatient unit delivering high-quality end-of-life care and palliative care. This is arewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patientsand their families.
OurInpatient Unit team takes great pride in delivering palliative and end-of-lifecare of the highest standard for patients with complex care needs, alleviatingtheir pain and preserving their dignity. As a result, the IPU maintains anexcellent nurse-to-patient ratio, typically 1:3, to uphold this standard ofcare.
Whilethe position we are recruiting for is challenging, it is also highly rewarding.You will be part of a supportive team working in a positive environment whereall our staff and volunteers are valued. Internal rotation to night andweekends will be a requirement of the post.
