At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to assist a gentleman in his 70s who has a passion for music, particularly blues, jazz, and rock. He’s a proud Manchester City supporter and enjoys staying up to date with the news, politics, and current affairs. He is currently in a rehabilitation setting, and we’re building a care team to support his transition back home to Walkden. Once home, you’ll play a vital role in delivering both personal and clinical care, including safe administration of medication. He’s also eager to rediscover his favourite places — from local pubs and the Imperial War Museum to Salford Quays and the Symphony Orchestra. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful conversation, sharing interests, and providing person-centered support in a friendly and engaging environment. Please note, candidates must be able to travel to Southport until our clients return home to Walkden.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Apollo Home Healthcare team.
Please note: The role includes both personal and clinical care responsibilities, and travel to Southport will be required until the client returns home to Walkden.
