A leading healthcare provider in Foots Cray seeks a motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support diagnostic assessments for ADHD and ASD. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team responsible for monitoring children and young people’s health. Candidates should possess good interpersonal and digital skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCA to contribute to the integrated neurodevelopmental pathway in Oxleas. Working across the Greenwich and Bexley teams the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting diagnostic assessments for ADHD and ASD, supporting the ongoing physical monitoring of children and young people on medication. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Paediatricians, an Advanced Pharmacist, Clinical Associate Psychologists and an HCA. We require a motivated individual with a keen interest in improving services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions and an ability to adapt quickly to change. The applicant will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work well as part of a team. They will also have good computer skills and competence in using digital technology. Hours of work will be predominantly 09.00 - 17.00 with flexibility to work between the hours of 08.00 - 18.00 occasionally to meet the needs of the service. Operational management is provided by the Team Leader for the Greenwich ADHD team.
