We pride ourselves on being a dynamic close‑knit team that delivers rehabilitation and sub‑acute care within a Community Hospital setting. You will be an integral part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, supporting and facilitating the care needs of inpatients in a purpose‑built hospital in the picturesque town of Cirencester.

Join us in developing your skills in sub‑acute medicine, rehabilitation and palliative care. This post is open to candidates who are looking to start their career in a nursing environment with no previous experience, or the more experienced carer looking for a change to further their clinical knowledge and skills.

Shift Patterns
  • Early Shift: 07:15 – 15:15
  • Late Shift: 13:15 – 21:15
  • Night Shift: 20:45 – 07:45

The role will require shift work. Hours per week – variety of hours available. We welcome potential candidates to come for a look around and get a feel for what we do by prior arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and compassionate care of a high standard under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care and nutritional and dietary support.
  • Take and record observations and undertake additional supportive tasks as directed by a registered nurse (e.g. venepuncture, catheter care, ECG recording, etc.).
  • Participate and assist in the delivery of care/services to patients.
Eligibility & Experience
  • Open to individuals with no previous nursing experience or those with experience in a caring role seeking to advance in a clinical setting.
  • Desirable: A genuine willingness to learn, a compassionate mindset and good communication skills.
  • Potential to use this role as a stepping stone for training in Nursing, Midwifery or Paramedic Science.
