A leading end-of-life care organization in the UK is hiring a Healthcare Assistant to join their night-time community team in Cornwall. As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) working in our night-time community team providing end-of-life care in patients' homes, you will play a vital role in ensuring comfort, dignity, and support during their final days.

These roles are perfect for compassionate individuals who thrive working independently through the night, delivering high-quality care and support to patients and their loved ones during lifes most challenging moments.
Hours: 22:00pm - 07:00am night shift
Contract: Part-Time Permanent (18, 27 or 36-hour contracts available)
Salary: Band 2 £24,465 per annum, in line with NHS Agenda for Change (AFC) + enhancements and Marie Curie employee benefits package
Locations: Central, North and EastCornwall (You will work within a 25-mile radius from your home address)
As these are community-based roles, you will be responsible for planning your own work, responding to changes in patient conditions, prioritising care needs (including hygiene, nutrition and hydration, comfort, monitoring vitals, and more) as detailed in the personalised care plan and ensuring you escalate appropriately to senior staff within the multidisciplinary team in a timely manner.
