Overview

Personal / Home Care Assistant in Altrincham, Trafford. We are looking to recruit female Personal Assistants to support a 22-year-old young woman with learning disabilities. No previous experience is necessary; the personality, caring nature, and ability to build a trusting relationship are what matters. The role involves supporting her to live her best life, including outdoor activities, baking, gardening, creativity, attending events, and holidays abroad as part of a small team.

We live in Altrincham and have two younger children, so being family friendly and used to busy households is welcome.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care
  • Support daily routines, activities, and needs to promote independence
  • Assist with outdoor activities, cooking/baking, gardening, arts and crafts, outings to theatres or concerts, shopping, holidays and travel as appropriate
  • Support with use and care of equipment; work as part of a small, supportive team
What you will receive
  • £12.50 per hour
  • Pension if eligible
  • 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year (pro rata)
  • Full certificated training on all aspects of the role, including First Aid, Makaton, Epilepsy, Manual Handling, and any other training needs
Hours Available
  • Part-time roles available, to be discussed at interview
  • Opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness
