Job summary

A leading recruitment company is partnering with a well-established organization to seek an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team in Castlederg. This is a 12-month contract role with responsibilities including assisting the SHEQ Manager, conducting SHEQ inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification and possess strong experience in SHEQ roles. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a SHEQ Advisor or similar role, ideally multi-site.
• Recognised Health & Safety qualification required.
• Experience conducting accident and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SHEQ Manager with SHEQ Management Systems.
• Provide day-to-day SHEQ guidance to site personnel.
• Conduct internal SHEQ inspections and audits.

Skills

Proven background as a SHEQ Advisor

Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland Health & Safety legislation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)
