An exciting opportunity has arisen for Health Care support workers to join our Overnight Palliative Intensive Care service in Glasgow. This post will primarily support patients receiving end of life care at home. The purpose of the post is to provide support to patients in their own home in the overnight period, therefore this is a night shift only post.
This service sits alongside the District Nursing (DN) Out of Hours (OOHs) Service, and therefore this post will be supported and directed through this team, and as such there may be times when you will also work to support other tasks within the DN OOHs service.
A car and driver's license is essential as you may need to travel between multiple homes during your shift, when there is limited public transport available.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
