Role Overview

We are seeking candidates who can provide evidence of experience in the caring profession or evidence of national vocational qualifications to join our valued nursing team on ward 9 Glan Clwyd Hospital. The successful candidate will receive a permanent Contract of Employment as a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant. Full-time and part-time contracts are available with various shift patterns to include days, nights and weekend working. Bank opportunities are also available for those wishing to have more flexibility in their work pattern.

We also have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Health Care Support Worker to join our Gastroenterology Team on ward 9 Glan Clwyd Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan.
  • Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.
  • Assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient, their family and carers.
Qualifications
  • Evidence of experience in the caring profession or evidence of national vocational qualifications.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
