We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our incrediable nursing team across the Stokes Medical Group practices (Stoke Gifford, Bradley Stoke and Conygre Road Surgeries). You must be compassionate, caring and empathetic to the needs of our patients. The nursing team consists of 10 registered nurses, 2 Nurse associate, 4 Health care assistants, 3 phlebotomists and 1 Nursing team administrator.
We are seeking for the successful candidate to support the care provision across the nursing team, to include annual long term condition reviews, NHS health checks, ear irriogation, health promotion, simple wound care, venepuncture, ECGs and injections under a patient specific direction.

The job will consist of supporting the nursing team as well as the wider team within the practice.
To summarise the role will include: Venepuncture, blood pressure management, ECGs, Long term condition reviews, NHS Health checks, health promotion, simple wound care, ear irrigation, and to support with our onsite minor surgery. The role will include administration of seasonal vaccinations and some injections under a patient specific direction.
