Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Health and Social Care Trainer Assessor to deliver training and support apprenticeships. Qualifications

  • Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care.
  • Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Manage diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews.

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: Up to £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
  • Hold either a recognised Assessor Award or Teaching qualification.
  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
  • Experience of classroom-based training.
  • Solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Management level.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Flexibility with travel.
Duties include:
  • Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
  • Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork, and general administration.
Personal Skills:
  • Strong organisational skills and effective time management.
  • Confident, professional, and able to inspire and motivate others.
  • Quality-driven and willing to go the extra mile for learners.
