Overview

Are you passionate about driving a safety-first culture and making a real impact in a growing business? We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our client based in Croydon. This is a key role, responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of workplace health and safety across the organisation.

Health and Safety Officer£45,0008:00am – 5pm Monday- FridayCroydon

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop companywide health & safety policies, risk assessments, audits, and training
  • Deliver inductions, conduct safety walkarounds, and lead H&S committee meetings
  • Analyse incident trends, implement corrective actions, and prepare board-level reports
  • Ensure all training, inspections, and safety documentation is up to date and compliant
  • Maintain all relevant accreditations (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001)
Essential Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role
  • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation and audit processes
  • A valid UK driving licence – some travel to UK sites will be required on occasion
