The role will guide how teams build networks. It will support a right-first-time approach. It will help fix problems. It will support better ways of working. It will help teams improve over time.

The role will support care for the environment. It will help reduce carbon. It will support better performance. It will help raise standards. It will support control of risk. It will help introduce better ways of working.

The role will support safe work near homes and businesses. It will help manage risk. It will support the right controls. It will help protect people and property.

A NEBOSH qualification is needed. Experience in telecoms or utilities is needed.

What you’ll bring
  • You have a strong background in health, safety, environment and quality.
  • You have worked in this field for several years and gained experience in telecoms or utilities.
  • You understand how to manage risk and support safe ways of working.
  • You are used to working with teams and helping them improve how they work.
Qualifications
  • You hold a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or are working towards a NEBOSH Diploma).
  • You may also hold a management qualification.
  • You are a Certified Member of IOSH or working towards this; you may be aiming for Chartered Membership or hold an equivalent grade with another professional body.
  • You have at least seven years of experience after gaining your health and safety qualification.
  • You have used this time to build your knowledge and apply it in real settings.
  • You understand how to support others and help them follow the right steps.
