Vacancy: Health and Safety Assistant

Maternity Cover

We're pleased to be advertising for maternity cover for the Health & Safety Assistant role in our Safety Team. The maternity cover will be for up to 12 months and will be ideal for a candidate who has a passion for safety and who wishes to develop their career.

You will report to the Health & Safety Manager. You will provide a comprehensive administration support to the Safety team, which will include taking accurate minutes within the monthly safety meetings.

You will Liaise with H&S Manager to ensure staff carrying out Safety Critical Work have been identified, trained and continually assessed and recorded to the level of competency required and files kept up to date.

You will ensure that periodic reports on safety performance are completed, including providing summaries of any workplace incidents. You will support the Health & Safety Manager in analysing of trends against Safety Performance Indicators.
