We are a leading rail infrastructure contractor, with a strong order book and a newly secured £20m per year framework for the next 8 years, we’re on an ambitious journey to grow the business to £200m turnover within the next 4 years.

To support this growth, we’re looking to appoint an HSQE Advisor or Senior HSQE Advisor to join our collaborative, down-to-earth team.

🔍 The Role

This is a hands-on, site-focused role, where you’ll spend around 3 days per week on site or in the office, supporting operational teams and embedding safe, compliant working practices.

Key responsibilities include :
  • Supporting and maintaining the Business Management System
  • Proactively identifying issues and influencing positive change
  • Preventing accidents and incidents through visible HSQE leadership
  • Ensuring safe systems of work are followed across projects
  • Managing internal audits (all conducted in-house)
  • Maintaining and improving the HSQE Management System
  • Providing expert advice on H&S legislation and best practice
✅ About You
  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Proven ability to influence site teams and drive safe behavioursComfortable working independently across multiple sites
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Rail or heavy civils background preferred
💼 Package & Benefits
  • Salary :
  • HSQE Advisor : £50,000 – £55,000
  • Senior HSQE Advisor : £55,000 – £60,000
