Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join a leading global manufacturing organisation. In this role you will support the site's health, safety and environmental compliance, working closely with operational teams to promote safe working practices and maintain a positive safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation and review of health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and investigations to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all health, safety and environmental matters
  • Coordinate incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks to increase awareness and understanding of safe working practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site, identifying opportunities to enhance safety performance
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with legal and corporate requirements
  • Work collaboratively with global HSE teams and contribute to best practice sharing
About You
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application
  • Confident in delivering training, briefings and safety messages to diverse teams
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem‑solving skills
