A luxury hotel in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Head Pastry Chef. You will manage a team of junior chefs and oversee the pastry and bakery operations, delivering a range of exquisite desserts and pastries. Experience in a Michelin-standard kitchen is essential for leading this self-sufficient pastry kitchen, utilizing local produce. This position includes a negotiable salary, 40-45 hours per week, two days off, monthly tips, and an extra day off for your birthday.
We’re looking for an experienced Head Pastry Chef (or an outstanding Senior CDP Pastry ready to step up) with experience in a 3 AA Rosette or Michelin-standard kitchen.
You will lead our pastry and bakery operation, managing 2 junior chefs and delivering bread, pastries, jams, ice creams, handmade chocolates, petit fours, afternoon teas and refined à la carte desserts. This is a rare opportunity to work in a self-sufficient pastry kitchen, using local Jersey produce and ingredients from our own kitchen garden.
You’ll join Longueville Manor, Jersey’s only AA Five Red Star hotel, sole Relais and Châteaux member, and home to a 3 AA Rosette restaurant serving our 65-cover gastronomic restaurant, room service, afternoon teas and bar snacks.
