Head of Training Delivery-Technology

London (4 days per week on-site)

£80,000 – £85,000 + package

We are looking for a Head of Training Delivery to lead and scale a high-performing technical training function, delivering commercially relevant programmes that meet real client and market demand.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who combines strong people leadership, technical credibility, and a commercial mindset. You’ll manage a team of trainers, remain close to delivery to stay relevant, and act as the senior training voice at leadership level.

The Role
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 8 Trainers, ensuring consistently high‑quality delivery
  • Maintain limited hands‑on delivery to keep technical and learner relevance
  • Represent the Training Division at Senior Management / Leadership level, contributing to commercial and strategic decisions
  • Work closely with Sales, Commercial and Client teams to identify training needs, skills gaps and bespoke solutions for external clients.
  • Shape and evolve training programmes based on customer demand, sales insight, and market trends
  • Ensure training delivery supports revenue growth, client satisfaction and long‑term partnerships

  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical training teams
  • A commercially minded training leader who understands:
    • The full sales cycle
    • Customer needs and buyer expectations
    • How training solutions drive revenue and retention
  • Background in any learning delivery model, including:
    • Hire, Train, Deploy
    • Apprenticeships
    • Commercial / B2B Training
    • Bootcamps / Academies
  • Strong technical credibility in technology skills
  • Data or DevoPs experience is highly desirable
  • Other tech skill areas are also welcome
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
