A prominent healthcare organization in London is seeking a Head of Security and Transport Services to manage and deliver critical services. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective service delivery. Responsibilities include managing contracts, budgets, and advising directors on security matters. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £64,156 to £71,148.
The Head of Security and Transport Services is responsible for the management and delivery of Security and Car Parking Services, Non-Emergency Patient Transport, Trust Fleet Management, and Taxi and Courier Services. The post holder will oversee day-to-day management, monitoring, and coordination, acting as the strategic lead in development and continuous improvement. They will advise senior directors on security matters, promoting it as vital to staff and patient safety and as an integral part of the Trust's operations.
They will chair monthly contract meetings and maintain accurate records to support governance of service contracts.
The post holder will ensure all services meet the Care Quality Commission requirements for safe and effective delivery. They will regularly review budgets and expenditures and develop new budgets where appropriate to identify efficiencies and ensure value for money. They will ensure compliance with SFIs, relevant legislation, and internal governance standards, including preparation and presentation of reports on strategic plans for service development.
