Bouygues Energies & Services SAS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager/Head of HR to be based in our Bristol office in Bradley Stoke and the Hinkley Point C site in Bridgwater.
Bouygues Energies & Services SAS have been awarded a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) new build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in working on this incredibly unique and technically challenging project.
The Senior HR Manager/Head of HR will be a key member of a the management team. The role will combine hands‑on operational excellence with a strategic impact, will ensure compliance with HR legislation and case law, implementing policies and initiatives that drive high staff engagement and development across the division, will have the ability to build, nurture and grow relationships with stakeholders whilst not afraid to roll there sleeves up and deal with the day to day challenges.
Working in a unionised environment, experience of NACEI legislation along with Blue Collar working legislation is essential. Knowledge TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) is highly desirable for this role. The Senior HR Manager/Head of HR will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting employee transitions resulting for mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all legislation regulations whilst working closely with key stakeholders to maintain employee engagement, minimise disruption and achieve successful transitions.
Whilst managing both site based employees as well as office based employees, knowledge of working with migrant workers on sponsorship to the UK is essential. Whilst the candidate will work autonomously they will report into the Project Director and have dotted lines into the UK & France for HR support.
This role is very much at the beginning stage and would suit someone who understands what it takes to move from a project environment to a business unit, with the potential scope to grow a small HR team as the BU/project grows.
